Deck Conn Crew Hub
Promotions, stations, and the human side of a nuclear patrol.
Deck Conn is a single-player command game, but the fiction is a crew. Launch copy talks about promotions, ranks, and a ship’s legacy. This hub is where those people live on the wiki. The deep page is Crew Roles and Promotions. Come here when a patrol ends and you are tempted to stamp a medal on whoever fired last.
There is no public roster of named heroes with skill trees in the store materials. We will not invent one. We will tell you how to think about stations, promotions, and the way a forever-war eats specialists.
What we know from the box
- You lead a crew through an endless war.
- Crew management sits next to combat strategy as a decision that shapes the ship.
- Promotions exist as a campaign reward.
- The fantasy is a working vessel, not a silent cockpit.
That is enough to write doctrine. It is not enough to publish a fake character tier. If a patch or manual names officers, they will land here and on Updates.
Stations that match the systems
Until a roster exists, map people to buses you already fund:
- Plot / sensors — the person who keeps the picture honest. Ties to S-tier systems.
- Reactor / auxiliary — the person who stops you from brown-out during an active ping.
- Weapons — the person who hits propulsion instead of paint. Ties to combat.
- Damage control / defenses — the person who makes escort home real.
- Navigation / propulsion — the person who still has fuel for the yard.
Promote the station that saved the patrol, not the station that made the trailer screenshot.
How this hub links
- Crew Roles and Promotions — the working rules.
- Campaign — when promotions happen in the loop.
- Capture or Destroy — prizes need people who can babysit them.
- Getting Started — do not promote during the first hour.
- Review — who this fantasy is for.
If you expected a PvP player database, you are in the wrong genre. Deck Conn does not have other players in your session. The only leaderboard that matters is whether the corvette still answers the next order.
Use this hub as a pause screen: after a fight, before a yard, with the power planner still open so the human plan and the amp plan agree.
A Wasp-class CEN corvette does not run on a silent cockpit. Screenshots of the command glass show a reactor that can SCRAM, a battery that can go LOW, and reports that still address a Captain. Someone is on those buses. If you never look at Crew Roles, you will still finish standalone hunts such as a gunboat intercept and still wonder why the campaign feels thin. The forever-war is a personnel problem wearing a tactics costume. Treat this hub that way, then go back to the Guides Hub when the glass is the thing that is actually confusing you.
Frequently Asked Questions

Are there named Deck Conn characters to rank?
Not in the public launch materials. We document stations and promotions instead of a fake roster.
Can another player take a crew station?
No. Single-player only. You assign everyone.
When should I promote someone?

Where do I learn the combat side?
